• Job descriptions you provide
• Cover letters you generate
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe)

We also collect some information automatically when you use the site: device and browser information, the pages you view and actions you take, approximate location, and referral or ad-click identifiers such as UTM parameters and a Google click identifier when you arrive from a link or an ad.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate personalized cover letters
• Provide job fit analysis and ATS keyword tracking
• Save your cover letters to your account
• Process payments
• Send service-related communications
• Improve our service

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for data storage, Stripe for payment processing, Google for analytics and advertising measurement, and PostHog for product analytics that show us how the site is used and where people get stuck. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the content of your resume, job descriptions, or cover letters with our analytics or advertising providers. If you are signed in, we associate your product usage with your account through a unique account identifier so we can understand how real users experience the product and improve it. We do share limited usage and conversion data with the providers above so the service runs and we can measure how our ads perform.

4. Data Retention

We retain your cover letters and account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We also use analytics and advertising cookies from Google, through Google Analytics and Google Ads, to measure how the site is used and how our ads perform. This includes a Google click identifier passed in ad links. When we enable them, we may also use Microsoft Advertising and Meta advertising cookies for the same measurement. We also use PostHog, a product-analytics tool, which stores an identifier on your device to recognize your session and measure how the site is used. On some pages, such as the cover-letter generator, PostHog also records product sessions (a replay of your on-screen interactions) to help us diagnose usability problems. These recordings are masked: the text you type and the content of your resume, job descriptions, and cover letters are never captured. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
